Volunteers

The Maine Cheese Festival would not be possible without the incredible support of our volunteers. From set-up and tear-down to parking coordination, site support, alcohol tent management, and guest assistance throughout the day, volunteers help keep the Festival welcoming, organized, and running smoothly. Their energy, generosity, and community spirit play an essential role in creating a memorable experience for attendees, vendors, and cheesemakers alike.

2026 VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN
For your (3) three hours of help, you will receive:

– Free Festival Ticket
– Insulated-Cooler Goody Bag
– $10 Food Truck Lunch Voucher
– Festival T-shirt (T-shirts not provided to volunteers under the age of 14) 

Youth Volunteers: We welcome youth volunteers as part of the Maine Cheese Festival team! Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their volunteer shift. Parents and guardians are encouraged to use their discretion when determining whether their child is ready to participate, taking into consideration factors such as age, maturity, ability to follow instructions, and comfort interacting in a busy festival environment.
