Do I need to purchase tickets in advance? Advance ticket purchases are highly encouraged, as some ticket types may sell out before the event. Tickets and T-Shirts are available day-of as well.
What’s included with my ticket? Your ticket includes festival admission and a festival goody bag, plus access to cheesemakers, vendors, demonstrations, educational programming, and activities.
Are children allowed? Do children need tickets? Yes! The festival is family-friendly. Children under 10 are free to attend.
Can I bring my dog or other pets? Only service animals are permitted unless otherwise noted by the venue. Please leave pets at home for the safety and comfort of attendees, animals, vendors, and food exhibitors.
Will there be animals at the festival? Yes! Depending on participating farms and exhibitors, attendees may have opportunities to see dairy animals and learn about Maine agriculture. Animal participation varies each year.
Will food be available for purchase? Yes. In addition to cheese vendors, there will be food truck vendors and beverages available for purchase.
Can I purchase cheese and other products to take home? Absolutely! Many cheesemakers and artisan vendors will have products available for purchase.
Is the festival rain or shine? Yes. The festival will take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather.
